This couple makes up to $9000 per Instagram Photo [WTF?] while traveling – here’s how they do it

Getting paid for an Instagram photo is definitely #LifeGoals

That’s how Jack Morris, carpet cleaner for 5 years, and Lauren Bullen have been living the life (what most people on Instagram [especially you millennial] would call “life goals”) since they met in Fiji last year. Not only do they spend their days documenting their world travels with flawless photos, they get paid.

Damn… Combined they have around 5 million followers. The couple now makes money selling the services or products of brands and tourism companies that sponsor them. This fully supplements their regular adventures around the world, as well as their home base in Bali. Plus, they now monetize Instragrma’s Photo Color Presents a.k.a. amazing photo filters, so they can multiply the productivity of their posts (you can buy them and do the same 😉 ).

In a Q&A recently posted to his official website, DoYouTravel, Jack shared a few tips that helped propel him and Lauren to Insta-fame, using Instagram photos, and you may want to take notes.

Here’s what he said: “I edit all my photos in the same kind of style with my own light-room presets,” talking about their dreamy ‘matching’ effect. He also added that the couple mostly shoots heir Instagram Photos around 1 hour after sunrise, since that tends to be the quietest time of day. The couple reportedly won’t take less than $3000 USD for a post (If you were thinking about having them as influencers/ambassadors of your brand, well… yeap).

They even created their own hashtag, #doyoutravelxgypsealust, so you can find people that are using their presets.

The point is…

From our perspective, this is the result of hard work. Jack and Lauren knew that just one Instagram photo would not set them up for life. But the hard work, the post after post, the discovery of products, the interactions↗ each part got them to where they are now.
